The raised copper and brass-toned detailing contrasts beautifully against the dark antiqued background. The center medallion depicts a gathering of figures in period dress, while the wide outer border includes shields, faces and elaborate Renaissance-inspired ornamentation.
The reverse retains its original hanging hardware and Jacops maker tag reading “Tis Kunstkoper – Jacops – Made in Belgium.”
