This is a vintage 1950s hand-painted porcelain novelty open-mouth figurine featuring a hooded executioner or medieval knight gripping a large silver sword.This multi-functional dresser or bar piece features a wide open-mouth catchall cavity meant to hold toothpicks or function as an ash catcher. The reverse side of the white pointed hood features a built-in slot engineered to store matchbooks. The underside features the original, authentic red paint stamp reading "MADE IN JAPAN".
