Original limited-edition color serigraph titled “The Western World” by American realist artist Robert William Addison.
The atmospheric artwork depicts the abandoned Western World riverboat, slowly being overtaken by nature. Addison was known for highly detailed, haunting scenes of disappearing American architecture, abandoned buildings and remnants of an earlier era.

* Hand-numbered 34/250 at lower left
* An original color serigraph, not a common reproduction
* Published through Merrill Chase Galleries
* Printed by Superior Silkscreen Industries in April 1973
* Accompanied by the original Merrill Chase identification card and artist biography
* Professionally matted and framed under glass
* Approximately 28” wide × 34” high
The documentation states that the edition consisted of 250 numbered prints plus 50 artist proofs, with the original printing materials destroyed after production.
Condition: Good vintage display condition overall. The print appears clean with strong color. The mat has visible age-related toning, spotting and discoloration, especially near the lower area. The wooden frame has scattered scratches, edge wear and small finish losses. The paper backing has age, punctures and edge wear but remains intact enough to protect the artwork. Glass reflects light in the photographs. Please review all images carefully.
